Type 2 CEOs understand that the worst scenario is to have silence coming from the companies they have invested in.
I advise CEOs to remember their college years where they learned the difference between micro and macro economics. In the capital markets, I translate those academic theories as follows:
- Micro economics applies to fundamental company factors
- Macro economics are external market dynamics
Focus on your own micro economics and the internal factors you can control. Don't obsess over what you cannot control.
