Joe La Rosa: Transformational Leadership
On the surface, Joe La Rosa certainly seems like an everyday guy. You would likely never know that he runs the 3rd largest real estate brokerage in Florida and 25th largest in the USA, until you step into his mind a bit and understand his drive and motivation.
La Rosa originally followed in his father's footsteps, first becoming a law enforcement officer. When he came to the realization that it was not what he thought it would be, he moved into real estate development. When the bust of '05 and '06 hit, he lost everything, but with 5 kids to feed and clothe, failure wasn't an option.
It was as the financial crisis hit, and he was consulting for a real estate franchise out of Connecticut and helping them improve their profit margin that his true love became clear: he wanted to help real estate agents become as successful as they possibly could be. That little idea turned into what has become La Rosa Holdings: the agent-focused, full-service suite of services designed for that one calling. It even led to him writing a program, a workshop, and a book called "Do It Now".
La Rosa gets incredible satisfaction from helping realtors understand the importance of mindset and purpose, to help them build stretch goals and business plans, and helping them become their best selves. That ethos flows from the top all the way down through La Rosa Holdings.
