I've always admired the CNBC commentators' ability to steer clear of controversial political topics and focus on the quantitative aspects of the markets. To paraphrase Jim Cramer, "I am not a Democrat or a Republican when it comes to investing. My goal is to make you money." The data supports this philosophy.
