Scott Hisey
Chief Executive Officer
Scott Hisey, a founder of QualTek LLC, serves as Chief Executive Officer. He also serves as a Member of the Board of Managers of BCP QualTek HoldCo, LLC. Scott has more than three decades of experience leading and organically growing telecommunications service companies. Prior to founding QualTek, he was a founder and Chief Executive Officer of Philadelphia based Trident Advisors, a firm specializing in US and international acquisitions targeting the telecommunications industry. Earlier in his career, Scott ascended the ranks from field technician to President and Chief Operating Officer in the cable and satellite communications industries. Scott enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1983 where he served for 5 years before receiving his Honorable Discharge in 1988 as a Disabled Veteran.
Adam Spittler
Chief Financial Officer
Adam is a Certified Public Accountant who brings more than 15 years of experience in the telecom industry. Adam is the lead strategist behind QualTek's advancement plan, ensuring its mission and objectives while supporting revenue, profitability, and growth. In addition to his focus on growth, Adam puts strong emphasis on production efficiencies, quality, service, and cost-effective resource management. Previously, Adam was President of Velocitel, Corporate Vice President of Finance at QualTek, and divisional Vice President of Finance of both Empire Telecom and NX Utilities. He came to QualTek after spending four years at UniTek Global Services and three years at KPMG, LLC. Adam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Kutztown University and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Drexel University.
Elizabeth Downey
Chief Administrative Officer
Liz brings more than 25 years of proven leadership and expertise in human resources with a niche in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining QualTek, she was Chief Administrative Officer of UniTek Global Services. Liz also held senior executive positions for a regional CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) in the telecommunications sector and an international publishing company. Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Penn State University.
Michael B. Williams
Chief Business Officer
Mike contributes more than two decades of progressive IT, Marketing, and Operations experience to QualTek and is the primary visionary for technological development. He is respected as an expert in telecom information systems, implementation, business process re-engineering, strategic planning, marketing, and project management. Prior to joining QualTek, Mike was Vice President of Information Technology at UniTek Global Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern University.
Paul Kestenbaum
General Counsel
Paul brings to QualTek more than 30 years of experience in corporate, transactional, and tax law, holding licenses in Pennsylvania, New York, and California. Formerly, he operated a firm he founded in Beverly Hills. Paul began his law career with a nationally renowned New York City firm. His interest in corporate law was developed during his years as a certified public accountant with a predecessor of KPMG. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from S.U.N.Y. at Albany, a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, and an L.L.M. from New York University.
Kevin Doran
President, Wireless
Kevin contributes to his leadership role in QualTek’s Wireless Division nearly four decades of executive experience in the construction and wireless industries. Before joining the team, Kevin founded and was president and managing partner of the Vantage Group, a leading Northeastern wireless design and construction operation. His resume also boasts a decade’s experience as Director of Corporate Services for a large New York City based investment banking firm, where he managed largescale, national construction and IT projects. Kevin began his career as the owner/operator of a mid-sized electrical contracting company for 13 years. His philosophy for building lasting partnerships has propelled QualTek Wireless to become an industry leader with a commitment to quality, safety, and excellence.
Tom Mix
President, Recovery Logistics
Tom brings to QualTek three decades of experience in Industrial Sales and Marketing with a niche in disaster recovery and expertise in P&L and R&D. He is a well-rounded, aggressive leader with a broad background and reputation for successfully managing B2B transactions and outperforming standards in the industries in which he’s worked. Tom is adept at forming strategic alliances to fuel growth. He created H&N Holdings LLC to benefit Recovery Logistics (RLI) and Site Resources (SRI), which merged under QualTek Recovery Logistics, and which Tom continues to lead. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Trade & Business and Economics from Niels Brock’s Handelsakademi, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Jay Heaberlin
President, Renewables & Wireline
Jay joined QualTek in 2013, bringing years of telecom industry experience to his Wireline role, which he was integral in developing. Jay carved a niche in the telephony, cable, and fiber arena, building a successful track record after starting in the industry as a technician in 1999, advancing to numerous management roles, and becoming President of DirectSat USA. His leadership helped DirectSat USA become the top performing home service provider of DirecTV in the United States from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Jay now strategically leads QualTek in the growing renewables industry, as President of QualTek Renewables. Jay honed his leadership skills serving in the United States Air Force from 1995-1999.
