Robert Ellin
Chairman and CEO
Rob Ellin is the founder, CEO, and Chairman of LiveOne, Inc., driving the company’s overall strategy and leading both the LiveOne and Slacker business units. Rob developed the concept for LiveOne and founded the company in 2015, raising the initial capital and negotiating festival and distribution rights. He led the acquisition of Slacker Radio and took LiveOne public in December 2017. Rob is also the founder and managing director of Trinad Management, a Los Angeles-based hedge fund. A long-time believer – and investor – in transformative digital technology and media, Rob has launched, sold, and taken public dozens of ventures, and overseen investments in gaming companies Majesco and THQ, as well as Jaxx Pacific and many others. Prior to founding LiveOne, Rob was the Chairman of Digital Turbine, where he worked with business partner Peter Guber to successfully take the company public. He also ran, and then sold, Internet media company iWon to Barry Diller’s IAC. Rob began his career in finance, working at Eli Rothschild in institutional sales before moving to Lombard Securities. A New York native, he is a graduate of Pace University.
Aaron Sullivan
Interim Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Sullivan, age 40, has served as the Company’s Vice President and Controller since March 2019. Mr. Sullivan is a seasoned executive with extensive financial, mergers and acquisitions and operational experience in building, managing and scaling organizations, as well with financial reporting and internal controls. Mr. Sullivan has built and led financial organizations across multi-billion-dollar technology companies. Prior to his appointment as the Company’s Vice President and Controller, Mr. Sullivan served as the Controller - Cloud of j2 Global, Inc. (now Consensus Cloud Solutions, Inc.), a cloud software company, since July 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Sullivan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a global public accounting firm. Mr. Sullivan holds a B.A, Business & Economics degree from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Dermot A. McCormack
President
A key player in AOL's sale to Verizon, Dermot previously served as AOL's Global President, Video and Studios, where he oversaw the video business for brands ranging from HuffPost to TechCrunch, and developed episodic programming including James Franco's "Making A Scene" and Steve Buscemi's Emmy Award-winning "Park Bench." Prior to his tenure at AOL, McCormack was EVP of Digital Media for Viacom's Music Group. Through an emphasis on organic traffic growth, social media integration, strategic partnerships, and storytelling around music, he helped MTV build a user base of more than 100 million followers, leading MTV to its position as the most visited music site on the Web. Among other innovations, while at Viacom, McCormack created the O Music Awards, a multiple Webby Award honoree, and developed Artist.MTV, a platform for artists to create and manage their online presence. He also launched the MTV Music Meter, an algorithm-based discovery tool that recommended music based on social media traction. Prior to his appointment as president of LiveXLive Dermot co-founded SNKR/inc., a global youth culture brand. He is a member of the board of directors of Axonista, a leading European OTT player, and the founder of Deviants Capital, a venture capital firm focused on launching and funding premium content brands. A native of Dublin, Ireland, he holds an engineering degree from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Jackie Stone
Chief Marketing Officer
Described by Adweek as a "marketing maverick," Stone is a recent Top 50 OnCon Marketer Award winner. Her background includes more than 28 years of marketing leadership at diverse companies such as Madison Square Garden, MSNBC, About.com, Digitas and AOL, where she was central to the success of AOL's Studio Music Sessions as part of the marketing and events team. Stone also helped launch The Food Network and The Daily Meal and was integral to the creation of the American Express Centurion Lounge. An adjunct professor at the New York University School of Professional Studies, she earned an MBA at the University of Miami.
David Schulhof
Chief Development Officer
David has held senior executive positions in finance at companies including G2 Investment Group, an offshoot of New York private equity firm Guggenheim Partners, where he focused on the firm's media investments. He is also the co-founder and CEO of Evergreen Copyrights, a leading independent global music publishing company which was sold to BMG Rights Management. David recently served as a Managing Director and Board Member of MI Acquisitions Inc., which successfully completed a merger with Priority Technology Holdings, Inc. He received a B.A. from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the NYU School of Law.
Jason Miller
Global Head of Sales and Partnerships
Jason most recently served as Executive Vice President of Advertising and Integrated Marketing at Fuse Media, where he conceptualized and implemented activations at leading music festivals, including ACL, Bonnaroo, Coachella, E3, Lollapalooza and SXSW. A senior executive at Fuse for more than 14 years, Miller worked closely with the digital team at Fuse, helping to spearhead the expansion of its non-linear strategy.
